C4S has enabled and innovative surveillance system which gives autonomy for people to monitor their surrounding through social surveillance system. “You are under your camera surveillance system” is the philosophy behind this model in which residential associations can build their own local wireless infrastructure for social surveillance with the support of C4S and local police station.

C4S has implemented surveillance system for highways tourist spots inside reserve forests to protect nature, wildlife and environment in a unique way in which remote location are connected to 100 km away monitoring points without depending on commercial networks.

Forest Surveillance Network

Four forest check posts in the Wayanad Wildlife division have been connected to distant DFO office for live video monitoring. The system is first of its kind in the country and recognised as a model project for forest highway and wild life monitoring.

Tourist Surveillance Network

As a remote tourist destination to be monitored, Keralamkundu waterfall in the Malappuram district has connected to nearest police station for live monitoring which ensures the safety of tourist visiting the dangerous waterfall. The waterfall is situated in an out of coverage area and people can communicate to outer world using our network. The system replicates in other scenarios like disaster management for Himalayan region and we are collaborating with agencies to develop sustainable solutions for communities need a social and democratic surveillance to improve security in these troubled times.
